I have been a dietitian for more than 20 years and have always been drawn to nutrition. I realized in high school that when I ate sensible foods and exercised daily, I felt better physically and mentally. But being consistent when I was young was not easy. So naturally, when I took my first nutrition class at the University of Maryland, I knew a degree in dietetics was going to be my major. My family and friends will tell you, I have always been passionate about nutrition and exercise.I love being a nutrition professional. Over the years, I became a Certified Oncology Dietitian (CSO) and an Integrative & Functional Nutrition Certified Professional (IFNCP) and a Certified Leap Therapist (CLT). Since obtaining the IFNCP certification, I have become even more energized and passionate about the power of nutrition as medicine! I enjoy helping people to understand nutrition and make healthy lifestyle choices. I prefer to encourage people to make healthy changes that one can live with long term instead of putting people on restrictive diets. I believe strongly in feeding your body whole foods to help you feel your best.
